We are considering this diner as a location to shoot out Sci-Fi/Horror film WAITRESS, currently in pre-production. The owner, Cindy, is very gracious and wonderful to talk to! Not only that, even the other guests! We were sitting at the counter eating and from across the room another guest started talking to us. If you're looking for a place to eat where you feel welcomed by staff AND other patrons, Country Boy is the place you'll want to check out!
Great local diner! The lady who helped me while the other younger server stood around was very nice. Turkey sausage, added cheese and onions to hash browns and white toast. I haven't been there for lunch/dinner, but I'm sure I'll try it eventually. Thank you!
They just reopened not too long ago, the place is slowly improving and updating. We usually get breakfast but today we got a late lunch/dinner. The only downfall we kinda experienced was we ordered before the people behind us, and they were served food first. That was a little irritating but we brushed it off. Shortly after my boyfriend’s food came but mine did not because the cook “missed it” on the ticket. The table behind me one of them had the same order I got. In my opinion, that was supposed to be mine with our order.. I had to wait while my boyfriend’s food sat and he nibbled to wait to eat with me. I could understand a huge order and missing something, but two items? And we were the only customers in there besides the table behind us, a total of 4. Idk just a little upsetting. The owner is very nice, so was the waitress otherwise. We can’t wait to come back and give it another shot as the restaurant grows.
This diner is a great place for a quick meal. For a small diner their food came out hot, fresh and delicious. The staff are friendly, kind and welcoming. They are fun to interact with and cater to your every needs. The diner is clean and well lit, the music is nice and low (not to intrusive to your conversation) The food is well priced and the menu is filled with delicious options Overall an excellent diner to bring the kids, wife or friends.
Food always good. Very friendly staff! Whenever I'm at the Laundromat next door (once a week ), this place will be my lunch or dinner.
Update: my mom and I went last night. I went with the Sloppy Joe and Baked Beans special. The sloppy joe was good (which i topped with some tasty Better Made BBQ chips) but it was the baked beans that stole the show! They were sooo good! My mom said her burger was the best she's had in a long while (and, in case anyone has a negative comment on price -> still cheaper than McDonalds and you're supporting a local business) 6 months ago: This place has been around as long as I can remember! It was a favorite of my uncle's. We'd usually run up there for a meal after a night at the bar. But today I went with my mom for dinner and the BLT was delish! Highly recommend
